IN A TYPICAL NON-DIRECT SUCTION INSTALLATION, POOL WATER FLOWS BY GRAVITY TO THE COLLECTOR TANK AND IS THEN PUMPED THROUGH THE FILTER AND RETURNED TO
THE POOL.
GRAVITY FLOW REQUIRES LARGER PIPING THAN PUMPED SUCTION.
A NEW COLLECTOR TANK CAN BE EQUIPPED W/ A VACUUM D.E. FILTRATION SYSTEM AND
A DROP IN CHLORINE GENERATOR.
OUTDOOR INSTALLATIONS WILL REQUIRE THE TANK TO BE EQUIPPED W/ A LOCKABLE COVER.
PROPORTIONING VALVES ARE USED TO CONTROL THE FLOW OF MAIN DRAIN - SURFACE SKIMMER GUTTER.
IN GUTTER POOLS THE MAIN DRAIN AND GUTTER LINES MUST BOTH BE GRAVITY FLOW
